Instructions

  • Whisk together egg, salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a non-stick skillet. Cook onion for about a minute. Add kale and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  • Add nutmeg powder and egg mixture. Stir and cook until eggs are done. Remove from the heat. Add crumbled cheese to the mixture.
  • Heat wafer maker and grease with cooking oil.
  • Place one pastry sheet on the plate and layer it with kale stuffing within ½ inch of the edges. Top with another pastry sheet and seal the edges firmly.
  • Place filled pastry sheet in the centre of the wafer maker and close the lid. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Carefully remove from the wafer makers.
  • Serve warm with a nice dip.
