Instructions

  • wash and soak rice for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent, add ground beef and cook while stirring constantly.
  • When the beef is brown add drained rice, broth, peas, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for about 10 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  • When rice and vegetables are cooked, remove from the heat.
  • Serve hot.
