Being a rich source of vitamin A, butter is absolutely essential for adrenal and thyroid health. The presence of lauric acid in butter also makes it efficient for treating Candida and fungal infections. Beside this, butter also helps in cholesterol metabolism, protection against damages caused due to free radicals, absorption of calcium, fights against tumors and diseases like cancer. Cheddar cheese, another major ingredient used in this recipe is a good source of calcium and helps prevent medical conditions like high blood pressure, heart diseases, diabetes and osteoporosis.
