Instructions

  • Take large non stick pan, heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and green chilies, mix turmeric powder, salt and red chili powder with water and add to the oil.
  • Bring it to boil and add oats mix well, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
  • After 2-3 minutes add basil leaves, lemon juice and roasted peanuts stir well and cook until all the water is absorbed by the oats.
  • Serve hot topped with a lemon wedge.
