Instructions

  • Combine chopped onions, bread crumbs, ground beef, morocco seasoning, salt, pepper and egg in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Prepare 2 large patties with the mixture and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  • Heat a non stick pan over medium heat and spray oil. Cook the patties from both sides until golden brown. It may take 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Remove the patties from the pan and keep warm.
  • To prepare the vegetables; place lettuce leaves in a bowl and add two thick slices of onion, tomato, beetroot, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Toss well.
  • To assemble the burger, cut the bun in half and place salad leaves at the base of the bun. Then add onion, tomato and beetroot slices.
  • Top with the beef patty and cover with the other half of the bun.
  • Serve immediately.
