Instructions

  • In a big bowl, add cooked beans, corn, bell pepper, chopped spinach, nutmeg powder, egg whites, cilantro, oregano, cumin, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well by using your hand, add bread crumbs for binding.
  • Form the patties with this mixture by using hands.
  • Heat a non stick pan over medium heat and spray some olive oil to this.
  • Cook the patties in the pan until crisp and brown from both sides, it would take 5 minutes each side.
  • Black bean and corn patties are ready to serve.
