Instructions

  • Take a bowl. Add salt, flour, toasted wheat germ and baking soda in it and mix well. Now make a well at its center.
  • In the center, add vegetable oil, unsweetened applesauce, 1 large beaten egg and buttermilk. Combine well.
  • Now transfer the above mixture over dry ingredients so that they are slightly moistened.
  • Take a nonstick skillet and place it over medium flame. Spread little cooking spray over it.
  • Now pour ¼ cup batter over the skillet to prepare one pancake. Cook the pancakes until their edges are strong. Then flip the pancakes to cook the other side.
  • If required, serve the pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
