Instructions

  • Mix half of the flour with the oats, yeast sugar and salt in a large bowl and stir well
  • Heat up a cup of water to medium heat and add to the mixture
  • Stir well to form a homogeneous mixture
  • Add the rest of the flour, one table spoon at a time, until you have a a stiff dough
  • Sprinkle some of the flour over a flat surface, and place the dough on the surface
  • Knead the dough for around 5 minutes, and put in a bowl with a towel on top and let it rise for about 45 minutes
  • After that divide the dough in 4 portions, and make the 4 pizza bottoms
  • Mix all the other ingredients in a large bowl, and add a dash of pepper if you like
  • Spread the mixture on top of each pizza bottom
  • Fold the pizza bottoms in half with the mixture in between
  • Use a little water on the edges to make the pizza stick, and press firmly to seal your calzones
  • Place on a baking sheet and put in the oven for around 15-20 minutes at 180C or 450F
  • Enjoy your pizza calzone!
