Instructions

  • Take a bowl and combine chicken, chopped garlic, black pepper, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Toss all the ingredients and place in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Heat oil in a heavy bottom skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until brown from all sides.
  • Add remaining marinade and water. Cover and allow the chicken to boil for 10 minutes.
  • Add salt, sugar and tomato ketchup and stir to combine. Let it simmer over low heat until the gravy is thick.
  • Remove from the heat and serve hot.
